Medication reminders
you can't swipe away.

Ordinary reminder apps send a notification into a pile of forty others. Pillora takes over your whole screen, keeps coming back until you actually respond, and tells someone who cares if you still don't.

The reason people miss doses

A notification is easy
to ignore. Pillora isn't.

Roughly half of long-term medication is not taken as prescribed, and the cause is almost never stubbornness — it's a 7 a.m. banner that got swiped along with the rest. So Pillora doesn't rely on a banner. It takes the whole screen, then keeps escalating on a schedule you control.

  1. On time

    Full-screen alert

The reminder covers the lock screen with the medication name, dose and three big buttons — even if Pillora was force-closed hours ago.

  2. +15 min

    Second call

No tap on Take, Skip or Snooze? It comes back. Choose the Fast cycle (+15, +30) or Standard (+25, +50) per your routine.

  3. +30 min

    Final reminder

One last full-screen alert, with a louder tone if you flagged the medication as critical. Critical meds sound through silent mode.

  4. Still nothing

    Someone gets told

The dose is logged as missed, and your caregiver receives a push after the delay you chose — 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour or 2 hours.

Tap Take, Skip or Snooze once and the entire chain stops. No duplicate alerts, no phantom reminders an hour later — a single action cancels every scheduled follow-up across the notification and the full-screen alert.

Seven alert themes

An alarm you don't
resent at 7 a.m.

The full-screen alert is the part of the app you'll see most, so you get to choose how it looks. Two calm minimal themes are free. Five put Ollie — our owl — front and centre, which turns out to be surprisingly hard to be annoyed at. Your choice applies even when the screen is locked and the app is killed.

Ten home screen widgets

Log a dose without
opening the app.

Most days you shouldn't need to open Pillora at all. Put the widgets you care about on your home screen and take, snooze or skip straight from there. Each widget can be pinned to a different family profile, so Mom's doses and yours can sit side by side.

Profiles & caregivers

Built for the person
who looks after everyone.

Most medication apps assume one phone, one patient. Pillora assumes you're also managing your mother's blood pressure tablets and your son's antibiotics — and that you'd like to know when a dose is missed without phoning to ask.

  • Separate profiles, one tap apart. Each person keeps their own medications, schedules, vitals, appointments and reports — nothing bleeds between them.
  • Per-profile invite codes. Share one code per person. A sibling can watch Dad's schedule without seeing yours.
  • Missed-dose push, not nagging. Caregivers are alerted only after your chosen grace period, so nobody gets pinged for a ten-minute lapse.
  • Read-only by design. Caregivers see doses, adherence, refills and notes. Access is revocable at any moment, from either side.

Caregiver dashboard

Peace of mind that
arrives on its own.

Open the dashboard and you see the day resolved: how many doses are done, the seven-day adherence trend, when they last synced. Most days you won't open it at all — the push only arrives when something is actually wrong.

  • Today, resolved. "3 of 3 today" and a 7-day adherence figure, per person.
  • Notes both ways. Leave a note on a medication — "take with food, she forgets" — and it's there next time.
  • Refill visibility. You'll see the pill count fall before the pharmacy trip becomes urgent.

Beyond the pillbox

The rest of your health,
in the same place.

Adherence only tells half the story. Log the readings your doctor actually asks about, and Pillora lines them up against the doses you took — so a pattern is visible instead of remembered.

Seven vitals, charted over time

Log a reading in a few taps and see it as a line chart with your own history behind it. Every measurement is timestamped and belongs to a single profile.

  • Blood pressure
  • Heart rate
  • Blood glucose
  • HbA1c
  • SpO₂
  • Temperature
  • Weight

Water, sleep & a daily mood check-in

Set a hydration goal and log a glass from the home screen widget. Record hours slept, and answer one question a day — awful to amazing — so mood sits alongside the medication history your doctor reads.

  • Daily goal
  • Sleep hours
  • 5-point mood
  • Symptom log

Appointments

Doctor, dentist, lab, physio. Reminders arrive before you leave, and the next visit sits on your home screen with a countdown.

Refills & pill stock

Tell Pillora how many pills are in the box. It counts down as you log doses and warns you at the threshold you set.

Your clinical record

Conditions, prescribers, pharmacies and facilities — kept per profile, so the details are there when a form asks for them.

Pillora reports screen with weekly, monthly and yearly tabs, a streak card and a weekly adherence bar chart

Reports

Turn six months of
doses into one page.

"How have you been getting on with the tablets?" is a question nobody answers accurately from memory. Export a PDF instead and hand your doctor the actual record.

  • Doctor-ready PDF. Adherence percentage, dose-by-dose history, current medication list, vitals, water, sleep and logged symptoms.
  • Weekly, monthly, yearly. Weekly export is free. Premium adds the longer ranges and the complete health report.
  • Adherence heatmap & streaks. A month at a glance, plus a streak counter that quietly makes the habit stick.
  • Translated, including right-to-left. The PDF is generated in your language — Arabic reports are laid out properly, not reversed.

Offline-first & private

Your medication list
is nobody's business.

Pillora is built the other way around from most health apps: the database on your phone is the real one, and the cloud is an optional mirror. If you never sign in, the app never makes a network request.

  • Use it anonymously. No email, no password, no profile. A random ID stays on the device and is never sent anywhere.
  • Everything works on a plane. Add medications, log doses, read reports and receive every reminder with data switched off.
  • No ads, no advertising SDKs. Premium pays for the app, so your prescription history is never a product.
  • Optional cloud backup, free. Create an account and your data mirrors across devices, protected by row-level security so only you can read it. Delete the account and the cloud copy goes with it.
  • Kind to your battery. No background polling. Reminders are handed to Android's alarm scheduler, which wakes the phone only at the exact moment a dose is due.

Meet Ollie

A companion, not a clipboard.

Taking medication every day for years is genuinely tedious, and an app that treats it as a compliance exercise makes it worse. Ollie reacts to how your week is going — celebrating a streak, looking a bit crestfallen at a missed dose — because a small amount of warmth is what keeps people opening the app on day 400.

Questions

Everything people ask
before installing.

Yes, and the free plan is genuinely usable rather than a demo. It includes unlimited medications, escalating full-screen reminders, refill and pill-stock tracking, vitals, water, sleep, appointments, weekly report export, two alert themes and four home screen widgets. Cloud backup is free for everyone who creates an account.

Premium unlocks unlimited family profiles and caregivers, all seven alert themes, all ten widgets, and monthly, yearly and full report export.

Yes. Pillora is offline-first: every reminder is scheduled by your phone's own alarm system and all of your data lives in a local database on the device. You can add medications, log doses, track vitals and read reports on a plane or with mobile data switched off.

Cloud sync exists, but it is an optional background mirror for people who want a backup and multi-device access — it is never in the path of a reminder firing.

Yes, if you mark that medication as critical. Critical medications override silent mode so the alert still makes a sound at the volume you set for it.

Regardless of sound, the full-screen alert appears over your lock screen and over whatever app is open — so it's visible even if the phone is face-down, or Pillora was closed hours earlier.

Pillora escalates rather than giving up. After the first alert it sends follow-ups on a cycle you choose: Fast is on time, then +15 minutes, then +30 minutes; Standard is on time, then +25, then +50. If you still haven't tapped Take, Skip or Snooze, the dose is automatically logged as missed.

If you've connected a caregiver, they get a push notification once the dose has been outstanding for the grace period you picked — 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour or 2 hours. Tapping any action, at any point, cancels the whole chain immediately.

Yes — this is what Pillora is built around. Create a profile for each person you look after and switch between them in one tap. Every profile keeps its own medications, schedules, vitals, appointments, notes and reports, and nothing leaks between them.

The free plan includes two profiles. Premium makes them unlimited.

Each profile generates its own invite code. You share one code with one person, and they connect from their own phone and their own copy of Pillora. Because codes are per-profile, a sibling can watch your father's schedule without ever seeing yours.

Caregivers get a read-only dashboard: today's doses, adherence, refill status and notes — plus a push notification if a scheduled dose stays unlogged past the delay you set. Either side can revoke the connection at any time.

Yes. You can use Pillora completely anonymously — no email, no password, no account. In that mode the app makes no network requests at all, and everything stays in a local database on your device.

If you choose to create an account for cloud backup, every table is protected by row-level security so only your account can read your rows. There are no ads and no third-party advertising SDKs, and you can permanently delete your account and all cloud data from inside the app or from our web deletion page.

Not yet. Pillora is on Google Play today for Android 8.0 and later. An iOS version is in development — the App Store button on this page will go live when it ships.

Yes. Pillora generates a PDF containing your adherence percentage, the dose-by-dose history, your current medication list, vitals, water, sleep and any symptoms you logged — formatted to be handed over or emailed.

Weekly reports are free. Premium adds monthly, yearly and the complete health report. Reports are generated in your chosen language, with proper right-to-left layout for Arabic.

No. Pillora never polls in the background and runs no persistent service. Reminders are registered with Android's own alarm scheduler, which wakes the device only at the exact moment a dose is due — so between doses the app costs nothing.

Because those alarms are exact, Android may ask you to allow alarms and reminders and to exclude Pillora from battery optimisation. Both permissions exist purely so a dose reminder isn't delayed by an hour.

Twelve: English, Arabic, German, Spanish, French, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian and Turkish. Arabic runs in full right-to-left layout with mirrored navigation.

Translation goes all the way through — the interface, the notification text, the home screen widgets and the exported PDF reports are all localised, not just the main screens.

Once, twice, three or more times a day; every X hours at a fixed interval; specific days of the week; cyclic patterns like 21 days on and 7 days off; or as-needed, where you log each dose manually and no reminders are scheduled. Every schedule takes a start date and an optional end date.

There are 21 medicine forms — tablets, capsules, liquids, injections, patches, inhalers, drops, powders, sprays, gels, creams, suppositories, gummies, softgels and more — so the dose reads correctly on the reminder.

Yes. Monthly and annual plans include a 7-day free trial and are cancelled from your Google Play subscriptions in a couple of taps. The lifetime plan is a single payment with no renewal to cancel.

Cancelling never deletes anything. You return to the free plan with all of your medications, history and reports intact.
